Bess Atwell
30th April 2027

Brighton-based Bess Atwell is one of the UK’s most compelling voices, crafting songs that are emotionally raw yet quietly assured.

Her breakout 2021 album Already, Always introduced a rare gift for introspective storytelling and gorgeously restrained melodies, earning her a growing cult following well beyond British shores. In 2024, Atwell returned with Light Sleeper, released via Real Kind Records, the label founded by fellow singer-songwriter Lucy Rose, and produced by Aaron Dessner of The National and Taylor Swift fame.

Bess continues to build on her signature sound, adding expansive textures and a luminous depth to carry her distinct, crystalline voice. With sold-out headline tours across the UK, Europe, Australia, and Canada, she has quietly and confidently stepped onto the world stage with songs that feel like secret confidences. Vulnerable, detailed, and unflinchingly honest, Bess Atwell’s music travels straight to the heart, carrying her unique poetic truth, gently told.
