Nimino, the moniker of UK-based electronic music producer and DJ Milo Evans, has been creating music since his teenage years. He began playing drums at age 11 and started producing music on a laptop at 15, initially as a hobby. Music production became a way for him to channel his ADHD. His early work gained traction on SoundCloud, with a noteworthy bass-inflected remix of the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind” around 2013, which earned him the title of “Artist of the Month” from Huffington Post.

Nimino’s music is characterized by a blend of various genres, including house, hip-hop, UK garage, and lo-fi elements. His sound is often described as deep, emotional, and versatile, drawing comparisons to artists like Mura Masa and SG Lewis. He is known for a “world-building” approach to his productions, balancing light and dark sonic textures.
