hi friends,

i have some difficult news to share with you. while rehearsing for tour, i’ve been having some vocal issues and after seeing a specialist, i’ve been told i need 2 weeks of strict vocal rest to avoid further serious damage. this means i have to postpone the UK leg of the tour until later this year in november.

i’m completely heartbroken, and i’m so so sorry to everyone who already made plans and booked travel/accommodation for these dates. this is the last thing i ever wanted to happen but i really need to prioritise my vocal health so i can keep touring for years to come and give you the shows you deserve.

the good news: as long as i follow the doctors advice, the EU leg is still going ahead so i’ll see you in amsterdam on the 17th! my team is working to reschedule the UK dates ASAP (tickets will be valid or refundable).

i love you all so much and i promise i’ll make it worth the wait to be hot and stupid together. but for now, yours truly, ugly and sad (beth) x 🩷

Beth McCarthy is a singer-songwriter from York who has been gigging with her guitar since 2010, best known as a contestant on Series 3 of ‘The Voice’ in the UK and for her platform on TikTok and social media.
